Anyway, sekarang sudah second half Sunday, a really proper time to spending the rest of this day to write something (i'm really proud of myself for being back in track). After 25 hours more with no text, no phone calls, and no news, my boyfriend finally sent me a whatsapp text and attach an image of him catching a blue fin fish in the boat somewhere around the lake of northern of this island, which i don't know where exactly. Probably just how happy i am to write again i couldn't be any happier seeing him to go fishing again (tapi ngga usah sering-sering yah beb nanti ireng!!).
Sesuai judul post kali ini, pastinya bakal seputar kecantikan lah ya. Tapi gue ngga bakal kasih beauty tips or review apapun cause i'm not an expert nor a beauty guru. Boro-boro dah ngasi tips makeup atau skin care, gue aja ke kantor ngga mandi. Kalopun harus cuci rambut gue akan memakai teknik ala eonni-eonni Korea; yaitu cuci rambut tanpa mandi. Jadi yang sering gue liat di pilem-pilem Korea mereka sering banget cuci rambut cuma diguyur pake gayung terus shampoan aja gitu, tapi masih pake baju lengkap abis itu sikat gigi-cuci muka-kelar dah. Berhubung beberapa hari belakangan kemarin JKT cuacanya dingin beud, gue sok ide ngikutin teknik itu, dan voila! Gue sakit pinggang abisannya. Tapi lumayan sih, jadinya ngga usah mandi ^^
Ada beberapa hal yang pengen gue bahas sebenernya, tapi ada baiknya gue kasih disclaimer dulu buat siapapun yang baca (duile sape sih yang baca juga) untuk no hard feeling or easily offended because this topic is quite sensitive to some people these days. This just simply an opinion of mine, so if you're gonna talking trash find your own garbage bin, don't even throw the dirt here. Like your opinion never affects me, so does my opinion to y'all. Kalau ada yang setuju dan merasakan apa yang gue rasakan, yauwis monggo. Kalau ada yang udah terlanjur baca dan ngga suka, anggep aja abis nonton ftv yang sekali nonton abis itu lupa sama pemain-pemainnya. Gausa dianggep. OK? I hope we're clear about this.
Jadi, this topic brought to you by kemuakan gue sama dunia per-instagraman. Awalnya tiap scroll-scroll (like we all lazy-ass did) gue mikir, "Anjrit cewe-cewe jaman sekarang napa cakep-cakep amat ya?!". Gue aja yang cewe pusing liatnya, gimana cowo-cowo. Tapi ibarat nyelupin strawberry ke chocolate fondue, kalo kebanyakan ya eneg. Gue jengah aja liat perempuan with all these trends nowadays, they're setting up the beauty standard with things that doesn't even beautiful for me. They'll be wearing fake contact lens, eyelash extension, fake eyebrows, fake boobs, fake lips (filler, iykwim), a different tone fake skin, aaaand another falsity like hiding behind their mirrorless camera with a huge flash ring. Setelah lo udah follow semua tren itu, lo bisa mulai untuk open endorse (like what?), atau bahkan ketika udah bisa makeup dikit mereka all of a sudden bikin beauty vlog atau jadi MUA. I mean come on, ngga ada salahnya dengan itu semua karena di condet aja sebelah-sebelahan mereka jualan parfum tapi santai aja. Gue ngga ada masalah sampai disitu as long as it does really their passion. I have a huge respect for them who's be able to follow their passion and passionately doing the work. But this trend is different i can tell, because based on what i see, they just know the good-high end-branded products and the trends. The trends guys. I would say i'm over this trends because gue sendiri sempet ngikutin dunia makeup ini tapi akhirnya gue mulai jengah karena ya, orang-orang ini sendiri juga yang bikin gue jengah. Akhirnya pelan-pelan gue mulai meninggalkan trend ini, dan mulai memilah mana yang sebenernya gue butuhkan, minimal buat muka gue sendiri dulu lah. Sekarang gue lebih berusaha menjaga kesehatan muka gue dengan bersihin muka, karena yang lo mungkin udah tau, i have an acne prone skin dan pernah jerawatan parah di tahun lalu dan gue bener-bener ngga mau kejadian lagi. In this case, gue pernah make skin care yang 'trend' juga, yang semua orang pake ibaratnya, but it didn't works for me. Padahal dengan merk seterkenal dan se-pricey itu gue udah berharap banyak,but no.
The point of this post apa ya, ngga ada sih sebenernya. Gue cuma bener-bener talking harsh aja karena ini adalah hal yang banyak terjadi di kehidupan sekitar gue, bahkan ada beberapa orang yang gue kenal pun begitu. Gue tau mana orang yang emang passionnya disitu, dan mana yang hanya following the trend so they don't miss out from this society. It's an irony for us girls with all this beauty we got since we were born to be define by something that has a tagline 'to make you look beautiful'. It's like beautify what's already beautiful. Instagram is no more than a 'man showroom' today, with a thousand followers and likes, they all flexin' who's got a better life. To be honest, i mute half of people in my following list just because i can't cut them, so better i draw myself a line off those people. Well, I'm not having a clean sheet but i'm aware this is a tricky world full of tricks to fool you. Don't get caught yourself in it. Just be happy with your own self, your own thoughts, even society won't like you as much as they'll like you with this whole trends, you will still be alive.
And you can't be more alive than living your life happily careless. A note to self.
